I was referring to the flurry of posts we have had the past 5 hours. Since no one was signing their posts I had absolutely no idea as to who was writing what and who was responding. In one word: it was chaotic.
Regarding the butterfly and wings, there is a very famous saying that explains the crux of chaos theory: "if a butterfly flaps its wings in China, it can cause a hurricane in America"..
so judging by the amt of chaos caused in this blog space, I was just hypothesizing about the butterfly in china
